The beliefs you learn, influence your choices, and those choices impact your life.
Beliefs lead to > Thoughts lead to > Feelings lead to > Actions lead to > Results.
If life is not going the way you want, it’s because you have a belief that’s running, like a program, automatically without you knowing.
We have instinctual programs and learnt programs. For example, breathing is a program your body runs automatically without thinking, so naturally you don’t even notice. It’s subconscious, it just happens. A learnt program is something you have seen, copied or specifically done, so often that you can do it without even thinking, like tieing your shoelaces.
A belief repeated enough becomes a program, when it becomes a program it runs, subconsciously, without even thinking, whether instinctual or learnt.
So if you are like me and you have areas of your life you are struggling with, look at where you are struggling, and the chances are you have a belief that’s turned into a program that’s running automatically and influencing the results in your life.
For example, anyone heard this: You need money to make money.
This is a belief that turns into a thought, “if I don’t have money I can’t make it”, and if you grew up in a poor family, and this is what you sore around you often enough, you believe it’s true. You don’t feel so good, that feeling inspires your actions, and that action leads to what you experience in life.
Say you changed that belief to: You need to love money to make money. What thoughts would you have, how would you feel, what would you do different?
If you can see that you are struggling financially, there is a belief that’s creating the result. And it’s up to us to find what’s not working a replace it with what will.
When you change your beliefs, and do the new ones often enough, you start to change your life. Deep inside there are things you learnt growing up, things your heard that are subconsciously running your life, look within, ask the questions, how is this belief serving me, is it good or bad, if bad what new one can I replace it with.
Up until the ages of 7 years old, we form most of how we see the world, and as a result 95% of life, is being played out by what we learnt before we where 7 years old!! If you want more money in your life, see what you heard about money growing up, what did you experience, what did you see around you. Find, replace, repeat.
“if you want your life to change, you have to change” – Jim Rohn
The fastest way to learn new beliefs is from those who already have them. Here is a book that’s helped me understand what money beliefs I had and how to replace them with beliefs that worked.
